Agile Analytics takes the stage as Premier Partner at Microsoft AI Tour in Sydney – Event Recap

Agile Analytics were proud to take part in the Microsoft AI Tour in Sydney in last week. The event, held at the International Convention Centre in Sydney on 7 February, provided a platform for industry leaders, customers, innovators, and partners to come together, exchange ideas, and explore the latest advancements in Microsoft AI technologies around Fabric, Co-Pilot and Azure Open AI.

As a Premier Partner, Agile Analytics had a prominent presence on the event floor, with a dedicated booth that attracted a steady stream of curious attendees. The highlight of our participation was our 45-minute keynote breakout session titled “Enhancing OpenAI with your data, systems, and APIs.” The session, presented by Agile Analytics’ Customer CTO Andrew Cobb and CEO Matthew Salmanzadeh, together with Microsoft App Innovation Lead Courtney Withers, delved into the exciting possibilities of integrating OpenAI with diverse datasets, systems, and APIs, delivering advanced AI models now.. 

The session not only showcased Agile Analytics’ expertise in the AI landscape but also provided valuable insights into the future of AI integration. Attendees gained a deeper understanding of how OpenAI, in conjunction with their own data and systems, can create a powerful synergy, driving innovation and efficiency in various industries. During the session, the trio highlighted real-world examples including demos for various industry use cases illustrating the practical applications of enhancing OpenAI with external inputs. 


The booth itself became a focal point for event attendees, who were eager to learn more about Agile Analytics’ solutions and event exclusive offers. We were delighted to engage with a diverse audience, ranging from seasoned professionals to emerging talents, providing demos and answering questions about the integration of AI technologies.

In addition to the keynote session and booth activities, the Microsoft AI Tour featured various sessions designed to explore the vast capabilities of AI. The keynote session, titled “Power your AI transformation with the Microsoft Cloud” was presented by Alysa Taylor and Scott Guthrie from Microsoft. This session delved into how organisations can leverage the Microsoft Cloud to drive AI transformation, offering attendees valuable perspectives from industry experts.

The event’s diverse line-up of sessions allowed participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of the AI landscape, from practical applications to the underlying technologies driving innovation.

As the Microsoft AI Tour in Sydney concluded, Agile Analytics left a lasting impression with, CEO, Matthew Salmanzadeh invited to the executive drinks function after the event which allowed him to learn more about the coming features of Microsoft OpenAI. The rest of the team headed to the W hotel for a stand-up networking dinner for Microsoft and customers who attended the event.
