Agile Fabric Foundation is our proprietary accelerator, refined across 150+ Fabric engagements. You do not start from a blank tenant. You start from a proven platform blueprint. Everything below sits inside the fixed scope, except the items marked optional, which are confirmed and priced in the discovery call.

Fabric is easy to start and easy to sprawl. The Foundation gives you the standards, security model, ingestion framework, quality controls and promotion pipelines that most organisations only discover they needed six months in. You start at sprint three, not sprint zero.
A typical Foundation engagement reaches a production platform in 6 to 10 weeks, with priority data sources ingested end to end. Where it lands in that range depends on your environment, the source systems in scope, how quickly security and access approvals move, and any optional scope such as Purview. We confirm the plan in the discovery call before you commit.
Fixed scope, fixed fee. We agree the scope in the discovery call, then quote a fixed price in the proposal, and it does not move unless you change the scope. Optional items, such as Purview Foundations, Fabric Insights, additional source systems or extended enablement, are quoted as separate line items so you can take them or defer them. Microsoft partner funding may offset part of the cost for selected assessments and MVP builds.
Purview is a potential addition to the scope, not an assumption. The Foundation always includes the security and access controls that make the platform safe to run: Entra ID integration, RBAC, workspace and item level permissions, sensitivity labels and access policies at deployment. Full Purview capability, the catalogue, lineage, classification and policy layer we deliver as Purview Foundations, is scoped and priced in the discovery call, where we work out together whether it belongs in this phase or the next.
A configuration first ingestion and orchestration layer. Instead of writing bespoke pipelines for every source, your team registers sources, entities, load patterns and quality rules in metadata. The framework handles ingestion, incremental loads, validation, retry logic, logging and alerting consistently across the estate.
Yes, and it is a common starting point. Existing Power BI Premium, Synapse, Azure Data Factory or early Fabric estates are assessed first: we keep what is sound, retire what is not, and fold the rest into the Foundation standards using our Fabric migration accelerators. The discovery phase exists precisely to work out what carries forward and what gets rebuilt.
Yes, by design. Copilot and AI agents are only as trustworthy as the data foundation beneath them. The Foundation builds semantic models with the metadata, descriptions and governance that make natural language answers reliable, and a governed data estate that AI agents can safely build on.
Fabric Insights is an optional add-on, priced separately. It is our packaged admin and governance product, giving usage analytics, capacity and cost monitoring, licence rationalisation insight and governance alerting across your tenant. It is also how the capacity and cost governance outcome is achieved in full: the Foundation applies workload tagging and capacity discipline, and Fabric Insights gives you the tenant wide visibility and alerting on top. Many clients deploy it in the same engagement so cost and governance visibility are live at handover.
An executive sponsor and a product owner who can make scope calls, access to the source systems and the Azure and Fabric tenant, security and network approvals started early, and one or two of your own engineers or analysts working alongside us so knowledge transfers while we build rather than at the end. Fabric capacity is licensed by you directly from Microsoft; our fee covers delivery, not your Microsoft consumption.
